The Chrysler PT Cruiser is one of the most unique looking vehicles on the road. One might ask, “What is so different about a Chrysler PT Cruiser other than the look?” Well, not too much really. The PT in Chrysler PT Cruiser stands for personal transport and the look was made to resemble a retro style car. Production for the Chrysler PT Cruiser started in 1999 and ended worldwide in 2009. There are however 1.35 million Chrysler PT Cruiser models on the road based on statistics showing the amount of Chrysler PT Cruiser units sold.

The Chrysler PT Cruiser was mainly assembled in Mexico and Austria after the year 2002. The FF layout of the Chrysler PT Cruiser featured a 2.4 L I4 engine and a 2.2 L I4 diesel on some models. Transmissions for Chrysler PT Cruiser cars were wither 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. The Chrysler PT Cruiser stood at 63” tall, 168.8” long and 67” wide.

When purchasing a new Chrysler PT Cruiser turn signal (parts link # CH2882101, reference # 17635, OEM replacement # 5288752AD), be sure to know that the part you are buying is right. The people at Go-Part.com are very helpful when it comes to getting a new Chrysler PT Cruiser turn signal (parts link # CH2882101, reference # 17635, OEM replacement # 5288752AD) so stop by their site first and a representative is usually on duty to assist with any car part needs.

Featuring retro-inspired styling and a futuristic edge at the same time, the Chrysler PT Cruiser is one of the coolest cars to come down the pike in quite some time. This five door hatchback, or two door convertible has a front wheel drive, front engine layout, and its 2.4 liter turbocharged engine helps get it on down the road. This vehicle very nearly became the Plymouth PT Cruiser instead, but was ultimately released as a Chrysler in anticipation of the demise of the Plymouth brand. Brian Nesbitt was responsible for the unusual design of the PT Cruiser, which was supposed to mimic the looks of an old hot-rod roadster with a modern edge. He truly exceeded the expectations of Chrysler, who couldn’t have been more pleased with his designs. The same was true of the American public, who snatched up the Chrysler PT Cruiser like hotcakes.

So if you find that you need a replacement aftermarket driver’s side tail light for your 2001 through 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser, you should go to Go-Part.com to see what they have to offer you. Go-Part.com is famous for selling high-quality aftermarket parts at a fraction of the cost of the original ones your Chrysler PT Cruiser came with. They have this tail light for sale right now: parts link# CH2800245, reference# 15490, replacement OEM#5288743AF, which will fit your Chrysler Pt Cruiser without any troubles at all. You don’t need to be a mechanic to install parts from Go-Part.com, as they sell parts that easily bolt or screw-on with no expertise necessary. Come to Go-Part.com for all your Chrysler PT Cruiser needs.

I have the worst luck with cars and when I bought my Chrysler PT Cruiser, it was no different. All of my cars before then seemed to have engine problems because I bought them used so I figured that if I bought a car new, my car problems would be a thing of the past. I had an issue though and was immediately engulfed in the world of Chrysler PT Cruiser side view mirror replacement fast. I have always been a good, safe driver. Sometimes, however, being a good driver will not necessarily keep one from getting into an accident. One day, I was driving my new PT Cruiser to the mall to buy some clothes and I got into an accident. It was not my fault but the other driver ruined my Chrysler PT Cruiser side view mirrors and I had to take my Chrysler PT Cruiser in for a repair. It was a very stupid accident and a typical one at that. As I was driving down the orad, I think the speed limit was 35 or something; another driver was behind me just shy of my blind spot but going about the same speed. I put my turn signal on to alert the other driver that I was about to make a left hand turn and then almost instantly, the other driver sped up and caused me to need a Chrysler PT Cruiser side view mirror replacement.

I was furious that this had happened because I had just bought my car. Of all things to need done to it, Chrysler PT Cruiser side view mirror replacement was the last I had expected. The side view mirror was a terrible mess, with the entire mirror hanging off of the car by a wire. It looked pitiful and even though I know it was all in my imagination, I couldn’t help but think other people were staring at me from their cars and laughing. The driver was very apologetic for forcing me to all of a sudden become a Chrysler PT Cruiser side view mirror replacement expert against my own will, but I was still a little angry and it was just one of those moments when I felt like giving up. I didn’t give up though and I said to myself, “If I need to take my new car in for a Chrysler PT Cruiser side view mirror replacement, then that is just what I am going to have to do and there is no way around it.” Luckily a mechanic friend of mine was around and he suggested the best place for me to go to have a Chrysler PT Cruiser side view mirror replacement procedure done to my car. It wasn’t long before I was laughing about the whole thing and even became friends with the person who hit me. What a peachy thing life is, all rose pedals and gumdrops as long as you stay positive.

Ok, so I had a friend years ago who had a Chrysler PT Cruiser and she was so awesome. We haven’t talked in 2 years but it’s just some drama. You know how it goes…that’s another story. So I and best friend at the time, Carol, had PT Cruisers. I always thought that the Chrysler PT Cruiser was weird, I don’t know it was just strange! It was totally weird too because if I don’t like a car I really don’t want to be in it, but I always loved Chrysler PT Cruisers when we were driving them! Carol was in the same class as me so every time when had to go school in one of our Chrysler PT Cruisers and it was always in the morning so I totally knew when she was coming up because the Chrysler PT Cruiser headlights are so cool looking. I know I just said that I don’t like the way PT Cruisers look, but I always liked Chrysler PT Cruiser headlights. It was funny because she would always look at me when she pulled up and flash her headlights once. I was always like, “Hello, I can recognize your car because of those neato Chrysler PT Cruiser headlights so you don’t need to do that.” I always let her do it though because it made her happy and it always made me happy to see her. If you don’t believe me or something because you might be thinking, “Wait a second, if she flashes her headlights and I recognize the car from the headlights, then how is that possible?” Well, my road was so totally curvy it was almost like one of those roller coaster roads or something I always said. So Carol would be turning and twisting and her Chrysler PT Cruiser headlights were always the first thing I saw. Carol eventually got a new set of Chrysler PT Cruiser headlights but I will always remember seeing her Chrysler PT Cruiser headlights on those school mornings before going to Mr. Durden’s Biology class. Sometimes I always look back at the good times in life like seeing my totally best of the best friend’s Chrysler PT Cruiser headlights coming down the road and I don’t know, I guess I took it for granted or something. I love my best friend now but she has a newer Chrysler PT Cruiser and the headlights are so plain Jane and generic so I guess I miss Carol and her old Chrysler PT Cruiser headlights. Would I ever get a Chrysler PT Cruiser again myself? Who knows. Probably not because it like wouldn’t be the same. I guess I just need to see my best friend winding down her Chrysler PT Cruiser down the roller coaster road from Heck just one more time. Maybe one day for like a class reunion or something me and Carol can drive there together if she still has the same car. It would be totally cool to see those Chrysler PT Cruiser headlights down the road just one more time.

Chrysler PT Cruiser taillights are located on the rear end of the PT Cruiser. Rear end of the vehicle is commonly also referred to as the back of the vehicle. The back of the vehicle is easy to go unnoticed and it is easy not to recognize when a taillight is out on a PT Cruiser or any other vehicle because typically, a driver will not see the rear end of the car before getting into it. There are some very important features of taillights that one should know about. Chrysler PT Cruiser taillights serve the same functions as any other vehicle which is 3 main purposes. Sometimes an owner of a PT Cruiser might even want to customize the appearance of the vehicle by placing “sporty” taillights on the rear end of the vehicle. There are rules though to performing upgrades to a PT Cruiser or any other car that is typically State and/or federal laws which Chrysler also has to adhere by when designing a vehicle.
Personally, when my PT Cruiser is parked or before I get into the car, I don’t notice the rear end. Most people see the front and driver’s side of any vehicle more than other part of the car, which is why cosmetic damage to the headlights or driver side doors, body etc. are the first to be noticed on a PT Cruiser. Chrysler PT Cruiser taillights are often unnoticed for that reason. Taillights serve 3 important features on a Chrysler PT Cruiser which are more for oncoming traffic than the driver or the Chrysler PT Cruiser. Chrysler PT Cruiser taillights are for the following things:
For letting an oncoming car know that the PT Cruiser is stopping: this is indicated by the left and right taillight both lighting up at a constant brightness.
For letting oncoming drivers know when the Chrysler PT Cruiser is turning: this is indicated by either the left or right taillight blinking at a rate are 2 times per second, but varies. Know that only one taillight will blink when turning, not both for a turn signal.
For letting oncoming drivers know when the Chrysler PT Cruiser is having an emergency and needs to be approached with caution: this is indicated by both the left and right taillights on a Chrysler PT Cruiser flashing simultaneously.
If you own a Chrysler PT Cruiser and want to update the look of the taillights, then it is possible to do that. Keep in mind however that one can’t just go and buy anything one wants and put it on a Chrysler PT Cruiser taillight. There are rules to go by and typically the manufacturer of the taillights or the Chrysler PT Cruiser will already have adhered to these design guidelines when producing the taillight components. However, sometimes a local state law might have different opinions on how safe a different taillight might be on a Chrysler PT Cruiser, so it is important to know what is or isn’t OK.

I ended up getting a replacement Chrysler PT Cruiser part from Go-Part.com and had it shipped to my door to replace the bad radiator I had in my Chrysler PT Cruiser. I didn’t have a terribly hard time getting it installed, but I have to admit, getting all the radiator hoses to fit securely was a real challenge for a guy like me. Buying Chrysler PT Cruiser parts online and them dropping them in quickly in a working order is as much an art as a skill and one that seems reserved for the professionals. Finding the Chrysler PT Cruiser parts online was easy…finding the attachments to the engine was another thing altogether.

I was very happy about the way I was treated, as my customer service rep was just great. He was polite and knew his stuff when it came to Chrysler PT Cruiser parts, which made me feel very confident about my purchase. I would heartily tell anyone who asks that they should visit Go-Part if they’re in need of affordable car parts. It is important to know you exact make, model and year, but you can leave the rest to them. Their professional staff steered me toward just what I needed and they didn’t break the bank.
